Drop them face down to stall, or use Tetrah and Photon Thrasher to summon Gaia. Vylon Tetrah & Vylon Sphere: Unfortunately both of these cards will be dead draws, if they aren't in your deck you wont be able to summon them with Element. A useful card, but not useful enough to have more than one of. Once you have Omega on the field you wont really need to draw cards. Vylon Matter: Recycle three of your equips and draw a card or destroy one card, great to give Omega additional fodder for his negations, and the destruction effect will usually be much more handy.

Kay'est can be searched with a Vylon Cube synchro, and Element can be searched thereafter by trading in any Vylon spell card. Rod of Silence Kay'est & Vylon Element: These two cards form the basis of the Vylon summoning loop, for further instructions you can see the later section of this post. If you don't have a cube, you can use Thrasher and Prism to summon Stardust Spark Dragon, as well as Scrap Dragon or Vylon Epsilon for a quick monster or back-row destruction.

Photon Thrasher & Trident Warrior (+ Reinforcement of the Army): These two monsters are generally going to kick off an Omega summon, if you have either of these and a Vylon Cube in you're hand you're pretty much set. Later in the game, you can use it to bring Honest onto the field and use its effect to pull it into your hand. This card is great to bring out Vylon Prism and attach it to a Stardust Spark Dragon for a very hard to kill monster with 3500 atk and immunity once per turn. Summoner Monk: A staple for alternative opening moves, you can use this to summon Omega by opening with Epsilon and 2 spheres, but it's usually not the best play. This card is mostly a backup for when your other cards aren't at hand. Monoceros: Sometimes you just wont have the right cards to make one of the more ideal Synchro summon combinations, in that case you can use one of the abundant Vylon spell cards and combine this card with a Vylon tuner normal summon to kick off an Omega summon, wipe the board with a Black Rose, or summon Gaia. Vylon Sphere, Vylon Tetrah, and Genex Neutron are also machine type monsters so if you have a spare sitting around in your hand you can add it to the fusion to further boost the stats and catch your opponent off guard. Use it to search Vylon Cube, and the 1800 attack is not too bad either.Ĭhimeratech Fortress Dragon: This is really a handy card to have in many decks, you wont get to use it often but if your opponent ever leaves out a Cyber Dragon, and possibly even more machines, you can wipe his side of the field and get a strong monster for no cost at all. Genex Neutron: Sometimes you just wont have a Vylon Cube in your hand for an ideal opening move, this card will almost always guarantee your hand is set up for a turn two Omega when you don't have the right cards. I'll outline the deck in several sections here, including the deck list with rationale, steps for summoning, strategies, and some replays for demonstration, and deck shortcomings/weaknesses.Īt first glance, you'll notice a few unusual cards in the deck, I'll go over those first followed by shorter explanations of the more standard cards:

This makes for a very hard counter against decks that focus on XYZs, Synchros, Lightsworn, Dark World, Inzektor, Fire Fist, Madolche, flip effects, etc. The focus of this deck is to summon Omega on the first turn and then shut down any effect monster plays your opponent might try on his turn. A fully equipped Vylon Omega can negate/destroy multiple effect monsters each turn, can't be targeted by enemy effects, can survive a destruction each turn, and is immune to many traps and XYZ monsters that normally plague Synchos (*cough* silent honors). This deck is designed to summon Vylon Omega on the first (or sometimes second) turn, with a few alternative options in case of bad hands.
